The VA is finally using technology of the modern era and veterans can see some of what's going on in their claim. However, there's a catch, as usual with the VA. It's good news and bad news. The good news is they are trying to get online and when that's complete, it's going to be wonderful. But right now, it's not complete and it's not wonderful. This is very concerning for a lot of veterans. One of the good things about eBenefits is that you can go online and get all of your medical records for the last year. You can see what the doctors are saying and it also shows what payments you are receiving and what's going on with some of your decisions. However, there's a catch. In order for anything to be on this electronic platform, somebody has to put it there. So, if you don't see a claim for something you filed, it's probably because it's sitting on someone's desk in a huge stack of paper.
